Digital Photography
From Fusselman.org
Let me start by being painfully honest. I really don't have a clue about photography. Currently, my strategy is something like "take a ton of pictures, because it makes that 0.5% of decent pictures be more". To that end, as of May 10th, 2008, I passed 8300 images on my S5. My S200/230 (the 200 was stolen) had something like 5000 total on them. Between my wife and I, we own a total of 3 digital cameras:
- Canon s230 Digital Elph 3.2mp
- Sony DSC-P150, 7.2mp
- Canon S5IS, 8mp. Bought this camera for our trip to Europe.
Eventually, this page will contain something of a write-up about each camera, sample photos, etc.
Other Stuff
- In light of the S5's lack of a PC connector, my options for remote flashes are pretty limited. I'm thinking about picking up one of these to fill backdrops and stuff. That, plus an external flash on the camera shoe ought to make plenty of light.
