Vacation and what's next
Now that we're back, I suppose it's safe to say that we were recently in the Bahamas, for quick vacation before Becky's new job. Photos of that are available in the gallery. We didn't take nearly as many pictures as we did in Europe (I took 1 2gb card (500 pics max), no battery charger (or spares) and no laptop), though I think this is largely due to there being less things worth photographing.
Whilst on our trip, I finished The 4 Hour Work Week, which is a sort of unconventional time-management book with something of a leisure / entrepreneurial bent. That said, there's lots of things there that can apply to the rest of us. His biggest take-way is that efficiency (doing tasks quickly) isn't the same thing as effectiveness (getting the most work done with the least effort). The author would have you believe that elimination of unimportant tasks is the way to improve effectiveness.
Anyhow, much more to come soon, here's hoping I have time. 3 weddings in the next 45 days, blech (nothing personal Dan).
