My friend Jason knows that I’m a big vim freak and emailed me about vmail, a vi-like IMAP client.  I’d seen something like this a while back, but vmail is pretty good.  The vmail site discusses running it against Gmail specifically, but it should work with just about any IMAP-ready server.

Anyhow, if you’re into Vi and on a unix-like platform, it’s probably worth checking out.
