On my way home last night, I saw a house that was seemingly on fire.  One set of firetrucks were already on the scene (From the nearby  fire station, just south of  144th and Maple) , and I met a team from Elkhorn Fire on my way out of the neighborhood.  Shortly thereafter, while standing in my driveway, Ron and I heard a 3rd set of sirens, which we think were responding to the same location.

I’m not quite sure how a single family home becomes a 3-alarm fire, but then, I don’t know much about fire department procedures.  Ron said today that when he drove by a while later, that the activity had mostly died down.
